John Cook birdies playoff holes to win Outback pro-am
LUTZ, Fla. (AP) – John Cook Birdied (FSY) a playoff hole to win the Outback Steahouse pro-am on Sunday, edging Jay Don Blake (FSY).Cook, who shot 9 under for the tournament, picked up his second Champions Tour victory this season having won the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai in January. He had a two-stroke lead over Blake before you post a double bogey on the 18th hole after Blake birdied.His second shot into the water forced Cook to drop and a two-putt gave him a pair of 6-4-18.Blake, who played on the qualifier status for most of the season 2010, is also that he had seven top-10 finishes, including a third place finish, has not had a win since 1991, when he won the Shearson Lehman Brothers Open.
